My favorite pop star, Dua Lipa co-designed a brand new collection with Donatella Versace’s latest collection “La Vacanza” (meaning: the holiday). The collection takes back to the ’90s feminine, fun and
vacation vibes. The theme of the collection was pulled at a poolside at this topiary-filled villa in Cannes. As London is soaking all the sun for the year, the new Versace x Hua collection is already giving me a dopamine hit of a virtual beach vacation, tbh. The show was projected as an intimate one with exclusive invites to some of the global fashion influencers and iconic Gen Z artists.

Being the famous Italian fashion house, Versace cannot emphasis more on spectacle, sophisticated engineering of garment, the La Vacanza collection is inspired from the 1990s Versace archives of resort
wears. The new collaboration with Dua Lipa is all about adding the pop of color, bringing the zest of youthful energy and living the classic 90s diva vibes. The vacation season is here and I have summarized few looks inspired from the collection to re-create the duo’s newest collection in the most budget-friendly way in this blog.

These 7 Items You Need To Create Barbiecore Like Dua Lipa x Versace on Budget

I have found the beautiful pink bodycon with a cut-out from Stradivarius is a spotlight worthy piece to slide into. While the Barbie movie has made ‘Let’s go Barbie’ an alpha attitude in women, bodycon dress can be a powerful statement to wear to work and off-duty outings.

trend back in 2020. From wide-leg jeans to tapered trouser, maxi denim skirts and even shorts, pink shirt is a safe and my most favorite piece from Barbiecore.

The pastel pink slip dress from Stradivarius is a universally flattering slip dress for all body types and sizes. The perky pink satin dress can be worn with a denim jacket for windy days and can
easily to dressed down with a cute crop top over it for a day outing.

4.     Slogan t-shirt

“Going for it”, “Go Big or Go Home” – slogan t-shirts tribe is growing strong and Brabiecore trend is multiplying the strength of it. The slogan tees are espousing Gen Z attitude and beliefs in a way, us
millennials can relate seamlessly. Embodying a message with a cool, bright tee is a the right way of celebrating summer this year.

Verdict: Versace is not the first of the A-line brands tapping into the super pocket of high-profile artists and musicians. But, for Versace, it is the first time that they have collaborated with an artist. The brand strategically timed its fashion show in Cannes and made their collection available instantly to skim the cream. Besides, the Dua Lipa x Versace collection is a goddess vision in pink and with all brands incorporating Barbiecore trend, it’s time you pick the bold, fashionable pop of pink and all vibrant hue.
