The mild breeze feels like fall is near-term. It’s time to take out your sweaters, jackets, blazers and shawls (but, not woollies yet). When it comes to re-upping our mid-fall wardrobe, it can be more than a little intimidating. All these mid-fall days, I always stick to denim jackets. However, this time, I’m obsessing over this bell-sleeves white blazer for fall dressing.
Largely, Indian seasons comes with a badge of what to wear. Summer/spring for cotton and linen, winter/fall for layering and monsoon for water-proof gears. Mid-fall days are just a different story. Remember those days when you can’t decide between trouser or jeans? Cardigan or cape? Blazer or jacket? Let’s do a reality check, we constantly have to juggle finding an outerwear that isn’t too warm and at the same time isn’t too thin to serve the purpose. I can’t be any happier than now when I got this white blazer to style this fall.
White Blazer: A Fashion Staple
Bid a good-bye to the suffering of cold wave, this white blazer is the answer to your everyday dressing staple. The structured white blazer is one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. Worn with a tucked in cami and boyfriend jeans and heels, this white blazer looks chic for evening or a casual meeting. For mid-fall, I tried to create a look which can easily be carried from daytime to dinner dates.
I’m wearing this white blazer with classic blue slim-fit jeans. I love monotones and so here I’m wearing a blue blouse and slipped it in and tangled with a brown slim belt. For accessories, I found my comfort in this ‘Boom/Bang’ side sling bag. Green being my recent Instagram feed theme, I painted my nails green and goes parallel with the entire look. I shun wearing heels when I’m off-duty. There’s nothing more comfortable than a pair of mules. Mules are a new definition of sophistication. One can dress-up as well as dress-down with a pair of shoes.
I love adding a personal character to every outfit; whether it is from a high street brand or a flea pick. And, there is no swifter way than jabbing eccentric patches. I decorated this white blazer with a pizza and French fries patches on both colours just to make the look more relaxed.
Let me know what do you think of this look. And before the arrival of fall totally get you covered, take a plunge and opt for the most fashionable white blazer. So, until it’s fall, let’s stroll the city in smart fall dressing for the new season.
