Hola Sugarcups!

Following the fancy dress-up and intense sweet indulgence, I’ve celebrated Diwali with all zing and zeal. Although stocking up for the festive season yet continues🙈. Meeting and eating-out just don’t stop! The famous play parties gaps around the clock ⏰ and honestly, who would like to wear that last-year’s anarkali suit🙆? Not me, and of course not my people🙅! And this calls for festive party costume inspiration and ideas. And this totally screams that the festive season isn’t over just yet (and not even the dressing dilemma🙎). If you are following me on Instagram, you must have already seen my festive outfit, but for those who aren’t, here’s a quick recap…

Today’s post is about a festive party costume that I wore to a soiree. Since festive vibes are lingering here and around, I really wanted to go with the flow. So I opted for this bright yellow asymmetric-hem kurta and wore it with black floral-embroidered ankle pant. Accessorizing the festive party costume is the major key when it comes to festive dressing. I adorned this layer silver-oxidized necklace and stacked some silver bangles to add that conventional crunch.

While keeping my hair open with some natural waves, I grasped this bandhani clutch I bought from my last year’s Rajasthan trip. No make-up than lips, I slipped into my beige quilted plimsole. And that’s how I styled my festive party costume.

These FIVE Outfits Should Be your Festive Party Costume This Year

  1. Fusion pants

Layered palazzo pants are just not comfortable, but an extremely versatile update to our ethnic wardrobe. And so are Dhoti pants. Tailor a cape blouse or find a ready-made one and you are all set to sail the festive party cruise.

  1. Dresses

You can find quirky prints in western section as well, ladies! Pick that sexy slip dress and wear a tunic top underneath to look festive appropriate. 😉

  1. Shrugs

Fall festive cannot be summarized without a shrug. Be it a bolero jacket in paisley print or a long-line ethnic shrug, festive party costume is all about shrugging it!

  1. Kurtas

There is no other comfort than wearing a kurta as festive party costume. This year, it is all about sleeves, statement neck-lines and asymmetric hems.

  1. Fashion Jewelries

Perk up your festive party costume with exotic fashion jewelries. A bold statement making necklace is all you need to board the soiree or a blowout with the gang.

Hope you enjoy reading this story and if you have something that I should be adding up to my list then feel free to comment.
