Hola Sugar cups!
It’s that time of the year again and I can’t hold back my mojo! November is already here and just when most of us are prepping up for the Holiday fun, I thought of throwing back to those merry-go-round days. If you are my Insta fam, you know what I’ve been talking about of late. Yes, today’s post is about my Carnival Fashion.
Carnival Fashion Concept:
Country fairs have the most vibrant and playful mood. With oodles of drama and flamboyance running over everywhere, I kept my outfit minimal and at ease. The rainbow knee-patch jeans from Koovs is very spiffy and comical, perfect to go with emotion.
Festivities are already in and you’ll see a lot of winter fashion posts next here, but last weekend I finally got to shoot at my favorite Carnival Fashion. Before I bid a good-bye to my fancy jeans and take out my formals (because we don’t have winter holidays 😭), I planned to put some fun in my OOTD. Oh, and let me first introduce you all to my version of Carnival Fashion. Indian Carnivals are a lot more than music and dancing; with all the delicious food, fancy games, bet-games and adrenaline-rush rides, Carnival fashion is magical. Speaking of it, there is a lot of fuss all around Pinterest and Tumblr on carnival fashion and after browsing all those beautiful and super talented pictures, I thought of tailoring my Carnival Fashion.
Rainbow knee-patch, washed denim jeans from Koovs, a casual black tee and a riveted black sling bag put up the complete look. I can’t get over the love for white and here I took out my white kicks (white sneakers are one must-have this winter) from my dear brand American Swan.
Childhood is everything about being your real self. Unbothered about worries of the world. How easily we trashed those intimidating questions of self-doubt, remember? For a juvenile, the only thing that matters is FUN! And thus, Indian Carnival Fashion is vis-à-Vis. Munching on the street treats, buying candy floss, enjoying some adrenaline-charged rides and being nothing but just HAPPY. My Carnival fashion outfit might just seem to be classic, but you can’t deny the lux of ease it holds. This is not a sponsored post and I’m sharing it to show my love to this chic and adorable jeans. Keeping the makeup just nude and hair, half-tied.
These pictures were clicked in the middle of the day when the sun was almost on the top. And after struggling for constant two weeks, just to find this place nearly vacant, we finally could make it through. So talking of carnival fashion. I wanted to give Winter Carnival fashion a more realistic appeal. We maximised the clash of colours and with a little editing; saturating the colour scheme, pictures are just raw. Credit: DJ Toons
Koovs is a brand fostering to youth. From street style to runway trends. This brand initiate pieces that are real and raw. Believing in having fun and being fierce, I thought the brand would candidly validate mood of carnival fashion. Carnival fashion sees no bar and there are endless choices this brand has on the board.
P.S. I can’t thank enough to my husband who composed and clicked these beautiful pictures.
Until next post,
